FREAK-noun-a person or animal on exhibition as an example of a strange deviation from nature. Common usage of the word indicates towards a rather unusual and abnormal trait amongst people who are expected to behave otherwise. Simply put - Freaks don't follow the norms, yet they mold themselves in such a way as to fit in the scheme of things.
Freaks-Next-Door is just a medium of expression. Its a platform to articulate the obvious and the oblivious. The aim of the production is not to produce, but to create. The love for theater is fueled by passion and the greatest reward is the prized feeling of putting up a good play.
Freaks-Nxt-Door do not believe in ideals but in ideas. Creativity is essential, but not at the cost of honesty of expression. Creativity is not measured on the scale of novelty and uniqueness, but valued as an extension of oneself. Honesty is perhaps the only value, the production adheres to.
F-N-D welcomes all the freaks out there to be a part of itself. After all, you can't hide from yourself.
