The Casting for Non -Sense

With a very dismal turnout for the second phase of auditions, Freaks Next Door continues to take further leaps forward. The tentative cast for Non Sense was finalized. The cast includes -  Arushi, Vikram Narayan, Rhea, Mrigank, Deepti, Vivek, Deeksha, Raghav, Ankit (I year), Abiha, Aditya Mohanty, Shivani, and Chetan. The rehearsals for Non Sense will  commence soon. Freaks Next Door goes under production with Non Sense. See you at the stage. :-)

First chapter in the history of Freaks-Next-Door!

And so Freaks Next Door began its journey with out much fanfare and excitement. On the serene and drizzly evening of 20th August, 2010 the freaks got together for the first time and created some memorable freaky moments!!

The dullness and the laziness of the atmosphere was turned into electrifying excitement by Vivek's edgy portrayal of a local Bhopali rickshaw-wallah's suffocating ordeal at the time of the Bhopal Gas Tragedy. Raghav followed with a very cute and amusing take on the auditions for the role of Ram in the upcoming Ramleela.

CALL FOR FREAKS

FREAK-noun-a person or animal on exhibition as an example of a strange deviation from nature. Common usage of the word  indicates towards  a rather unusual and abnormal trait amongst people who are expected to behave otherwise. Simply put - Freaks don't follow the norms, yet they mold themselves in such a way as to fit in the scheme of things.  

Freaks-Next-Door is just a medium of expression. Its a platform to articulate the obvious and the oblivious. The aim of the production is not to produce, but to create. The love for theater is fueled by passion and the greatest reward is the prized feeling of putting up a good play.
